Italian in the station
The former Jaffa railway station has recently received a new breath: the Tel-Aviv Mayor’s office has turned it into a modern cultural center of Mitham ha-Tahana. Among the small shops, cafes and cozy walking paths, in the heart of the complex one can find the restaurant Italkia Ba´Tachana (“Italian in the station”). This corner of Southern Italy, famous for its meat, fish and seafood dishes, is led by famous chef Amir Markovic.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week, offering breakfasts, lunches, and dinners at the highest level. It opens doors at 10 am on weekdays and on Saturdays and at 9 am on Fridays. There is a large parking lot next to the cultural center that helps to avoid the hardest question for Tel-Aviv restaurants: “Where to park the car”?
The restaurant Italkia Ba´Tachana offers to Israelis and guests of the country facilities to celebrate any event – from chamber for several people, to large ones – up to 150 guests! The price per person starts just from 160 shekels. The hall is also equipped with a video projector for presentations.
